Welcome to the Kingsnorth Karate Club website.

We are a well-established karate club in the heart of Strood. Here, you will find a dedicated group of people training in the Shotokan style of this Eastern martial art. Between them, Sensei Peter and Sensei John bring decades of experience and knowledge to the dojo, making the study of karate not only worthwhile, but also enjoyable. 

A karateka (student of karate) will focus on kihon (basics), kata (form/pattern) as well as on kumite (freestyle fighting), while there are also opportunities to grade and take part in competitions- local and national- throughout the year. Your sensei (teacher) will work with you to hone your technique, build up your stamina and improve your confidence.
